  2. Products & Services

  ModRoot offers two categories of products:

  a. Meal Prep (ModRoot Meal Prep) Fresh, made‑to‑order meals prepared in small batches. These items are perishable and subject to strict food safety regulations.

  b. Retail Goods (ModRoot Living) Non‑perishable items such as apparel, accessories, and lifestyle products.

  We strive for accuracy in product descriptions, ingredients, pricing, and availability. We reserve the right to correct errors or update information at any time.

  
  

  3. Pricing & Payment

  All orders must be paid in full at checkout. We accept major credit cards and any additional payment methods listed at checkout.

  4. Meal Prep Ordering, Pickup & Perishability

  By purchasing ModRoot Meal Prep items, you acknowledge:

  • Meals are made-to-order and perishable.

  • Orders must be picked up during your selected pickup window at the location you choose during checkout.

  • Once meals leave our pickup location, ModRoot is not responsible for temperature control, storage, or food safety.

  • Missed pickups cannot be refunded, remade, or rescheduled.

  5. Shipping & Delivery (Retail Goods Only)

  Retail items may be shipped when available. Delivery times are estimates and may vary. ModRoot is not liable for delays outside our control.

  Meal Prep items are pickup-only and are not eligible for shipping.

  
  

  6. Returns & Refunds

  • Meal Prep: All sales are final after the weekly cutoff. Governed by our Meal Prep Refund Policy.

  • Retail Goods: Returns and exchanges follow our standard Return Policy.

  
  

  7. Allergens & Food Safety (Meal Prep)

  ModRoot prepares meals in a kitchen that may handle some common allergens. Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredients and notifying us of allergies before ordering.

  ModRoot is not liable for reactions caused by undisclosed allergies or improper storage after pickup.

  
  

  8. Intellectual Property

  All content, logos, branding, recipes, product names, and designs are the property of ModRoot LLC and may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

  
  

  9. Limitation of Liability

  To the fullest extent permitted by law, ModRoot is not responsible for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Loss of profits

  • Improper handling or misuse of products

  • Foodborne illness resulting from improper storage after pickup
